Ingredients/Components

• cinnamon
• eggs - 3 item
• salt
• brown sugar - 1 c
• water - 1/2 c
• nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
• baking powder - 1/3 tsp
• baking soda
• shortening - 2/3 c
• stick butter - 3/4 item
• ginger - 1/2 tsp
• sifted flour - 3 c
• raisins - 3/4 c
• white sugar
• allspice - 3/4 tsp
• applesauce
• Add eggs and applesauce

How to make applesauce cake:

Cream together first 3 ingredients. Add eggs and applesauce. Sift together dry ingredients; add to the mixture alternately with water.

Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 60 minutes.Icing:2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar3/4 stick butter Add milk and beat until well blended. Easy to spread.
