  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • nutmeats - 1 c
  • allspice - 1/2 tsp
  • applesauce

How to make applesauce cake:

Sift together the flour, soda, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and salt. Add to dry ingredients the nutmeats, raisins, applesauce, melted butter and sugar. Mix well. Bake in 350° oven until done, about 20 minutes for cupcakes and 45 minutes for loaf.
