Applesauce cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• butter or margarine - 1/2 c
• flour - 2 c
• baking soda - 2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• raisins - 1 c
• allspice - 1/4 tsp
• ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
• applesauce

How to make applesauce cake:

Cream sugar and butter and add unbeaten egg. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with applesauce and raisins. Bake in greased tube pan (or 2 loaf pans) at 350° for about one hour, (less if in loaf pans).
