Apple-walnut cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- well beaten egg - 1 item
- chopped walnuts - 3/4 c
- sifted flour - 1 c
- margarine, melted - 1/3 c
- thinly sliced pared apples - 4 item
How to make apple-walnut cobbler:
Mix sugar, cinnamon and 1 1/2 cups walnuts. Place sliced apples in bottom of greased 11 x 8-inch pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture. Sift dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk and margarine and add dry ingredients all at once. Mix until smooth. Pour over apples and sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Bake for 50 minutes at 325°.
