  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • baking powder
  • whipped cream - 1 item
  • nuts, finely chopped - 1 c
  • egg unbeaten - 1 item
  • each cinnamon and nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • apples, finely chopped - 1 c

How to make apple torte:

Mix ingredients in order given and pour into a greased 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.

This torte will have a macaroon appearing crust.
