Filling: approximately 14 apples1/2 to 1 c. sugar1/2 tsp. 1 tsp. cinnamon1 tsp. lemon juice Topping:1 1/4 c. flour1/3 c. sugar1 stick margarine On a flat surface, mix flour and baking powder. Make an indentation in the middle and place in it sugar, salt, egg, vanilla and milk. Work mixture with a knife to a thick pudding. Cut the cold margarine on top of that. Now work the flour from the outside in until you have a ball of dough. Put this into a 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 1-inch pan. (If dough sticks to finger, cover them with a little flour.) Peel apples and slice them into orange-section size, then cut these again crosswise into 1/4-inch pieces. Mix the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice under the apples. Fill crust with this mixture.

For the topping, work flour, sugar and margarine together into small pea size pieces (crumbs...this is the streusel). Spread these evenly over the apples. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. You can fill this crust with any pie filling. It will take 3 cans of your desired fruit.
