Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- water
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- large mixing bowl full of thinly sliced apples, sprinkled with sugar - 1 item
- pie crust to cover 9 x 13-inch baking dish and fold over
How to make apple roll:
Lay pie crust over 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Fill with apples. Fold crust over apples, making a roll. Boil together brown sugar, water, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter. Pour over roll and bake in 350° oven until brown and crispy, about 1 hour. Baste some while baking.Recipe categories: Low protein, Fruit, Apple.
