Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- hot water - 1 c
- to 7 medium-size baking apples - 6 item
How to make apple pudding:
Peel and slice baking apples. Layer in the bottom of a square baking dish. Pour hot water over the apples. Mix together 1 cup sugar, cinnamon and 3 tablespoons flour. Sprinkle over apples. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Mix together 1/2 cup sugar, egg, milk, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 1 1/4 cups flour and baking powder. Pour over apples. Bake at 350° until apples are done and top is browned (30 to 45 minutes). Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Apple.
