  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 c
  • water - 10 c
  • apple pie spice

How to make apple pie filling:

Boil the ingredients together until thick. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 3 drops yellow food coloring, if desired. Pour over apples in jars. Cold pack 20 minutes.
