- sugar - 3/4 1
- cinnamon - 1/2 1
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie
- tart apples, pared, cored and sliced - 8 item
How to make apple pie:
If apples lack tartness, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Combine sugar, flour and spices. Mix with apples. Line pie plate with pastry. Fill with apple mixture. Dot with butter.
