Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- apple juice - 1/4 c
- chopped, tart apples Jonathans are good - 3 c
How to make apple pie:
Cook apples, water and 1/2 cup sugar until apples are tender. Combine cornstarch, apple juice, orange juice and 1/2 cup sugar and mix well. Add to apples and cook until clear. Bake in uncooked crust with lattice topping at 350° or 400°. Can add cinnamon, if desired.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
