  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 4 Tbsp
  • water - 3 Tbsp
  • sliced apples - 2 c
  • double crust - 1 item

How to make apple pie:

Prepare bottom crust and fill with tart cooking apples, sliced very thinly and sprinkle sugar over them. Add water. Distribute butter in small lumps over surface; sprinkle with flour and then the cinnamon. Adjust top crust, well perforated. Bake in moderate oven. If preferred, top crust may be made of latticed strips.
