Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- light brown sugar - 1/2 c
- whole eggs - 3 item
- sweet milk - 2 Tbsp
- Glaze:1/2 stick margarine
- finely chopped thinly sliced raw apples - 3 c
How to make apple dapple cake:
Glaze:1/2 stick margarine1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. light brown sugar2 Tbsp. sweet milk Cake: Mix ingredients thoroughly, folding in apples and nuts last. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325°.Glaze: Combine ingredients and boil for 5 minutes or until it is the desired thickness. Spread on hot cake.
