- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- cooking oil
- chopped apples - 3 c
- Sift flour with soda and salt, beat into sugar mixture
How to make apple dapple cake:
Combine oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla; mix well. Sift flour with soda and salt, beat into sugar mixture. Fold in pecans and apples. Pour into tube pan, which has been greased and floured. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Glaze:1 c. brown sugar, packed1/4 c. milk1 stick margarine Mix, cook for 3 minutes. Pour while hot over hot cake. Let cool in pan for 2 hours.
