Apple dapple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar
- soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- salad oil
- chopped apples - 3 c
How to make apple dapple cake:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1 stick margarine Mix eggs, oil and sugar; blend well. Sift flour, salt and soda; add to egg mixture. Mix in vanilla, apples and nuts. Pour into a greased tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. While cake is still warm, pour topping over and let cool in pan.Topping: Combine all ingredients and cook 2 1/2 minutes. Pour immediately over hot cake.
Note: Cake comes out easily if you use "Pam".
