Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar
- soda - 1 tsp
- raisins - 1/2 c
- Crisco oil
- chopped apples - 3 c
How to make apple dapple cake:
Glaze:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1 stick margarine Mix together Crisco, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Fold in apples, raisins and nuts. Pour in greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.Glaze: Mix glaze ingredients together and cook. After boiling for 3 minutes, pour hot sauce over hot cake and let stand in pan for 2 hours. Then turn out onto cake plate.
