Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- coconut - 2 c
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- chopped dates - 1 c
- sifted flour - 3 c
- oleo - 1/2 c
- Grease and flour tube pan
- peeled, chopped apple - 3 c
How to make apple dapple cake:
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease and flour tube pan. Beat together eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla. Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to egg mixture. Stir in apples, dates, nuts and coconut. Pour into pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Remove from oven and immediately pour hot topping over cake.Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. oleo1/2 c. milk Mix together and boil 2 minutes.
