Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- nutmeats - 1/2 c
- chopped fresh apples - 2 c
- sour or buttermilk - 1/2 c
- flour not cake flour
How to make apple cupcakes:
Cream the sugar and shortening. Add egg. Alternate milk and dry ingredients. Lastly, add apples, raisins and nuts. Mix only until blended. Pour into muffin tins (15 or 18). Bake for 30 minutes at 350°. Can be frozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cupcakes.
