Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- butter flavoring - 1/4 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- finely chopped nuts - 1/3 c
- raw chopped apple - 1 c
How to make apple crunch muffins:
Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/3 c. finely chopped nuts Cream margarine and sugar. Add milk, beaten egg and butter flavoring. Combine dry ingredients and add. Peel, core and dice the apples very, very fine and add. Place in greased muffin pan or little paper baking cups and prepare topping.Topping: Combine ingredients and sprinkle the topping over the muffins and then bake at 350° for about 20 to 25 minutes.
