Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 item
- cinnamon - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1 c
- oatmeal - 2 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- to 10 apples - 8 item
How to make apple crisp:
Cut margarine into dry ingredients and mix well. Mixture is crumbly. Pat 1/2 crumb mixture into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cut up 8 apples, which have been peeled and cored. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and a little cinnamon. Pat remainder of crumbs on top. Pat real good. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Apple, Cobblers and crisps.
