Apple cream cake
Ingredients/Components
- flour
- sugar - 2/3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- shredded, peeled apple - 1 c
- chopped walnuts - 3/4 c
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
How to make apple cream cake:
Sift together all the dry ingredients. Stir in the apple and 1/4 cup nuts. Combine butter, milk and egg. Stir into the flour mixture and blend only. Pour into greased and floured 9-inch round pan. Spread sour cream over top. Combine sugars and spread over the sour cream. Sprinkle on remaining nuts. Bake at 400° in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm with butter or whipped cream.
