Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 3 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 3 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar
- nutmeg - 3/4 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shredded coconut - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- chopped apples - 2 c
How to make apple coffee cake:
Topping:3/4 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1/2 stick butter1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. shredded coconut In a large bowl, beat eggs, oil, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add dry ingredients, mixing well. Add chopped apples and stir. Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 300° for 45 minutes. Increase heat to 325°; bake 20 minutes longer. Let cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Flip over onto plate.Mix brown sugar, milk, butter, vanilla and coconut in saucepan; bring to boil. Pour over entire cake.
