Apple coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- dried apples - 2 c
- margarine low-fat - 1/2 c
How to make apple coffee cake:
Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar2 tsp. cinnamon Place apples in lemon juice. Cover with water. Let set 1 hour.Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Add to the creamed mixture. Add milk and vanilla. Beat well.
Pour into 9-inch greased and floured cake pan. Top with drained apples. Arrange apples around cake. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.
