Apple coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cinnamon
- eggs - 2 item
- packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- sifted confectioners sugar
- margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- chopped apples - 2 c
How to make apple coffee cake:
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Cut in margarine until mixture crumbles. Add milk and eggs; mix until moistened. Spread into bottom of greased 9-inch square pan. Combine apples, nuts, brown sugar, margarine and cinnamon. Spoon over batter. Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes.Top with topping of confectioners sugar and milk; drizzle over top of cake while still warm.
