- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1/2 c
- water - 4 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- lemon juice - 3 tsp
- apples, peeled and sliced - 2 qt
How to make apple cobbler:
Batter:1 c. sugar1 c. self-rising flour1 stick butter1 egg Mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, salt and water; cook until thick. Add apples; simmer to tenderize apples.Batter: Combine ingredients; pour in lasagna pan. Add apples; bake at 350° until crust comes to top.
