Apple chutney
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 item
- chopped red bell pepper - 1/4 c
- minced ginger - 2 Tbsp
- clove pressed garlic - 1 item
- chopped green apples - 2 item
- chopped, seeded lemon - 1/2 item
- fresh cider no preservatives - 1/2 c
How to make apple chutney:
Mix first six ingredients in a pan over high heat. Combine cider and brown sugar. Add apple mixture and salt. Simmer until reduced to 2 cups. Cool. Serve with ham or other curried dishes.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Chutneys.
