Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- white wine vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- mayonnaise or salad dressing - 3/4 c
- frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed - 1/4 c
- torn romaine - 3 c
- torn red leaf lettuce - 3 c
- medium skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - 4 item
- red onion rings - 1/3 c
- medium apples, cored and sliced - 2 item
- broken pecans or walnuts - 1/2 c
- apple juice concentrate, thawed - 1/4 c
- dried savory, crushed - 1 tsp
How to make apple chicken salad:
For marinade, in small bowl combine apple juice concentrate, salad oil, soy sauce, vinegar and savory. Place chicken breast in plastic bag in a shallow dish. Pour marinade over chicken.
