Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter
- soda - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- raisins - 1 c
- pecans - 1 c
- dash of ground cloves - 1 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- Wesson oil
- grated apples - 3 c
How to make apple cake:
Frosting:1/4 c. butter1 tsp. vanilla2 Tbsp. milk2 c. powdered sugar Beat eggs; add sugar, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cloves to flour. Fold in grated apples, raisins, pecans and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in a greased, floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 325° for one hour.Frosting: Mix butter, milk, vanilla and powdered sugar together until creamy. Frost cake while hot.
