  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • dash of ground cloves - 1 item
  • dash of nutmeg - 1 item
  • Wesson oil
  • grated apples - 3 c

How to make apple cake:

Frosting:1/4 c. butter1 tsp. vanilla2 Tbsp. milk2 c. powdered sugar Beat eggs; add sugar, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cloves to flour. Fold in grated apples, raisins, pecans and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in a greased, floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 325° for one hour.

Frosting: Mix butter, milk, vanilla and powdered sugar together until creamy. Frost cake while hot.
