  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • water - 2 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • oleo - 3 Tbsp
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • chopped apples - 2 c
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes

How to make apple cake:

Mix together and pour in greased and floured square pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Double for larger cake.Topping:1 c. sugar1 c. brown sugar2 c. water5 Tbsp. flour2 tsp. vanilla Cook until thick and pour on top of hot cake.
