- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- nuts - 1 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- chopped apples - 4 c
- Beat eggs; add oil and vanilla
How to make apple cake:
Pour sugar over apples and let stand. Beat eggs; add oil and vanilla. In another bowl, mix flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add the flour mixture and the egg mixture alternately to apple mixture. Add nuts. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Frosting:3 1/4 c. powdered sugar1 egg pinch of salt2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. water1/2 c. Crisco Beat sugar, egg, salt and vanilla.
