  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • water - 2 Tbsp
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • nuts - 1 c
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • chopped apples - 4 c
  • Beat eggs; add oil and vanilla

How to make apple cake:

Pour sugar over apples and let stand. Beat eggs; add oil and vanilla. In another bowl, mix flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add the flour mixture and the egg mixture alternately to apple mixture. Add nuts. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Frosting:3 1/4 c. powdered sugar1 egg pinch of salt2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. water1/2 c. Crisco Beat sugar, egg, salt and vanilla. Boil brown sugar and water about 2 minutes; add Crisco and beat all together.
