Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- to 8 apples - 6 item
How to make apple cake:
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together 3 times. Cream butter and add well beaten egg. Add milk and mix all together. Spread in a pan, about 3/8-inch thick. Cover with apples (peeled, cored and sliced). Lay in rows, overlapping each other. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake about 30 minutes in a 350° oven.
