  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • butter - 2/3 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 item
  • chopped apples - 1 c
  • cinnamon optional - 1 to

How to make apple brownies:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir well. Stir in apples and nuts. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. When cool, sprinkle powdered sugar over top with sifter, then serve.
