Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- eggs or equivalent Egg Beaters - 3 item
- apples, pared and diced - 3 item
- slices thin bread - 4 item
- nonfat dry milk powder, liquified, or 1 can evaporated skim milk - 1 c
How to make apple bread pudding:
Toast bread; cut into cubes. Place in baking dish. Heat milk to boiling; pour over bread. Let stand 15 minutes. Beat eggs with sweetener, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add apples. Combine with bread mixture and stir. Bake at 325° for 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Apple.
