Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1 c
- chopped apples - 1 c
- buttermilk I use plain milk
How to make apple bread:
Cream by hand the sugar, shortening and eggs. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour in greased and floured loaf pan. Bake 1 hour at 350°.I double recipe; freeze one loaf or share one with a friend.
