Anisette cookies



  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 2/3 c
  • flour
  • baking powder - 7 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • anise - 3 tsp
  • oleo or margarine - 1/2 c

How to make anisette cookies:

Heat oven to 425°. Mix baking powder, flour, salt and sugar in medium bowl. Beat eggs, oleo or margarine, anise and milk. Mix dry ingredients to liquid. Mix well. Drop by spoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 425° for 8 minutes. After they are cooled, you can make a glaze with confectioners sugar and milk until moist. Add food coloring for a different effect.
