- to 12 slices bacon - 11 item
- shucked Maryland select oysters - 1 pt
How to make angels on horseback:
Drain oysters. Cut bacon slices in half and fry until partially cooked. Wrap 1/2 slice bacon around each oyster and secure with a toothpick. Broil, about 4 inches from source of heat, until edges of oysters begin to curl and bacon is cooked. Makes 22 to 24 angels.Recipe categories: Holiday, Appetizers, < 30 mins.
