Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- vegetable shortening - 3/4 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel flake biscuits:
Cut shortening into flour. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add buttermilk. Work together until well moistened. Cover bowl. Store in refrigerator. When ready to use, take out amount desired.
