Ingredients/Components
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- lukewarm water - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- self-rising flour - 5 c
How to make angel biscuits:
Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Add the remaining ingredients. This will keep in refrigerator for 1 week. Dip out needed amount in flour; pinch off and place in greased skillet. Bake in 400° oven for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
