Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 6 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- warm water - 1/4 c
- yeast - 2 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix dry ingredients. Cut in Crisco. Add yeast and buttermilk to make soft dough. This does not need to rise before baking. Will keep in fridge up to 2 weeks. Bake at 450°.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
