Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- buttermilk - 2 c
- self-rising flour - 5 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar. Mix all together; store in closed bowl in refrigerator. Knead dough before making biscuits. Do not let rise before baking. Bake at 425° until done. Use as needed.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
