  • buttermilk - 2 c
  • self-rising flour - 5 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • warm water - 1/2 c
  • dry yeast - 2 pkg

How to make angel biscuits:

Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar. Mix all together; store in closed bowl in refrigerator. Knead dough before making biscuits. Do not let rise before baking. Bake at 425° until done. Use as needed.
