Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/8 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- warm water - 1/4 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix dry ingredients. Cut in Crisco. Stir in buttermilk and yeast. Refrigerate or roll out on a floured cloth and cut with a biscuit cutter. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in a 400° oven on a greased cookie sheet.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
