Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/8 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- warm water
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. When dissolved, add to other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Let rise 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
