Amish dressing
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- parsley - 3 Tbsp
- cooked, diced carrots - 1/4 c
- celery, finely cut - 1/2 c
- loaf bread, crumbled - 1 item
- stick oleo, divided - 1 item
- cooked, diced potatoes, salted - 1 c
- chicken, finely cut - 1 item
How to make amish dressing:
Brown bread in 1/2 stick oleo, turn often. Remove from heat. Beat eggs, add milk, salt and pepper to taste and mix together. Melt other 1/2 stick in 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Meanwhile, mix egg mixture with carrots, celery, potatoes, chicken, parsley and milk. Stir in bread crumbs and pour over oleo in baking dish.
