Amish cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• flour - 2 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• pecans, chopped optional
• can unsweetened pineapple with juice - 1 oz
• Add eggs, pineapple with juice and pecans, if desired
• stick margarine, melted - 1 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• powdered sugar - 2 c
• small pecan pieces - 1 item

How to make amish cake:

In mixing bowl, mix sugar, flour and soda. Add eggs, pineapple with juice and pecans, if desired. Mix well and pour into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan and bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. Spread with icing.Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick margarine, melted1 tsp. vanilla2 c. powdered sugar small pecan pieces Mix first four ingredients. Spread on barely warm cake. Sprinkle with small pecan pieces.
