Amish bread pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- butter or margarine
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- raisins
- bread crumbs - 3 c
- milk, scalded - 2 c
How to make amish bread pudding:
Combine the milk and butter until melted (let cool). Combine the eggs, sugar, salt and nutmeg. Beat at medium speed. Pour over bread and bake at 350° for 50 minutes. (Use oblong pan.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Amish/mennonite.
