  • eggs - 4 item
  • water - 1/2 c
  • Amaretto - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • maraschino cherries - 1 item
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • pecan pieces - 1 item
  • size pkg - 1 oz
  • Into each crevice, place 2 maraschino cherries

How to make amaretto cake:

Spray Bundt pan with Pam. Into each crevice, place 2 maraschino cherries. Sprinkle pecan pieces over bottom of pan.

Beat by hand the remaining ingredients to make batter. Carefully pour batter into pan over cherries and pecans. Bake at 325° about 45 minutes.

Cool in pan about 10 minutes. Spoon topping over cake in pan, let cool another 10 minutes before turning out onto serving plate.Topping:1 c. sugar1/4 c. margarine1/4 c. water1/2 c. Amaretto Bring all ingredients, except Amaretto to a boil. Remove from heat and add Amaretto.
