Aloha shrimp salad
Ingredients/Components
- water - 6 c
- raisins - 1/3 c
- curry powder - 2 tsp
- finely chopped celery - 1 c
- reduced calorie mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- can unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained - 1 item
- unpeeled medium sized fresh shrimp - 2 lb
How to make aloha shrimp salad:
Bring water to a boil; add shrimp and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Drain; rinse with cold water. Peel and devein, if desired. Combine shrimp and remaining ingredients. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Serve on leaf lettuce or in pita bread.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, Shrimp.
