Ingredients/Components

  • water - 6 c
  • raisins - 1/3 c
  • curry powder - 2 tsp
  • finely chopped celery - 1 c
  • reduced calorie mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • can unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained - 1 item
  • unpeeled medium sized fresh shrimp - 2 lb

How to make aloha shrimp salad:

Bring water to a boil; add shrimp and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Drain; rinse with cold water. Peel and devein, if desired. Combine shrimp and remaining ingredients. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Serve on leaf lettuce or in pita bread.
