Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 oz
- margarine or butter - 2 oz
- egg - 1 item
- almond paste - 2 oz
- almonds, sliced - 4 oz
- juice of lemon - 1 item
- apricot jam - 1 item
- pastry - 4 oz
How to make almond tarts:
Cream together the margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add almonds, paste and lemon juice. Use tart pans; cut pastry to fit. Fill each 1/2 full of mixture. Bake at 450° for 7 minutes. Reduce to 350°; bake for 30 minutes. Dust with sugar. On eRecipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, Tarts.
