Almond roca cookies
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 3/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- Hershey bar
- sliced almonds or other nuts I use walnuts - 1/2 c
How to make almond roca cookies:
Topping:12 oz. Hershey bar1/2 c. sliced almonds or other nuts (I use walnuts) Cream butter, sugars and vanilla. Add egg; cream well. Add flour and salt. Pat into ungreased jelly roll pan. Bake about 12 to 15 minutes at 325° until light brown. Remove from oven, slice chocolate across top and spread as it melts to cover top. Sprinkle nuts on top.
