Almond roca bars
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1 c
- sifted flour - 2 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- beaten egg yolk - 1 item
How to make almond roca bars:
Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg yolk and vanilla; beat well. Stir in flour and spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes (light golden brown). Sprinkle chips on hot cookie; let set 1 minute. Then spread and frost. Sprinkle on nuts. Cut in squares while warm and let set up.
